Curve it up #9 ~ Dresden Plate

"Curve it up" Dresden Plate ~ Block #9

To find the tutorial and downloadable PDF go here.

Helen came to my rescue today.  With the new baby, I knew I wouldn't get to creating a "curve it up" block today.  This block is made using the same tutorial as the Fancy Fans block.

I absolutely love this block and can't wait to do up a whole quilt of these Dresden Plate Blocks!

...and here is my Fancy Fans Block

I had fun sewing these up today.  It did take me all day though...between feedings and changings. ;o)

Hmm; the seams going through the wedges on the regular Dresden Plate block would bug me, but I LOVE the Fancy Fans version. Super cool!

I hope you and the baby are mostly just cuddling and taking it easy. This time zips by in a hearbeat.
